When we decided it was time to grow our family a little bit we were met with
some very interesting
challenges. But God is good. Not only did He use
this time to give us some information about
ourselves that we absolutely
needed to know - He also took this time to open our hearts and our eyes
and
our minds to the needs of those elsewhere.
Yep - that's right - once again He was showing us that it wasn't all about
us. And once we accepted that and started to follow Him - He took away
all the pain, sorrow and
lost feelings we had been experiencing.
Now we are really excited to find ourselves in the middle of not one
but 2 adoptions! And we can not wait to be in the position of
parenting
our children to know God, to know a healthy fit lifestyle, to know the
Yankees are the best
baseball team ever and to know the National
League is for sissies.
